We are now halfway between the recent full moon in Leo from 02.01.2026 and the much discussed New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius on 02.17.2026. This point of the lunar cycle is otherwise known as the last quarter moon. This, and its counterpart being the first quarter moon, are often overlooked despite being fertile points for strengthening one’s resolve.

The sun and company are lined up in Aquarius waiting on the moon’s arrival. And yet, the moon still has work to do — including a journey through thirty degrees of Sagittarius, thirty degrees of Capricorn, and roughly thirty degrees of Aquarian airs. All celestial bodies of our system are in position and queue for the coming eclipse at 28° of Aquarius ♒︎; exacting at 7:01am EST on February 17th, 2026.

Often times, the squaring moon can bring about conflict or a feeling of wanting to abandon visions we’ve seeded previously. Sometimes the conflict is simply about allowing ourselves to release control. The following horoscopes are written as an offering of clarity as we approach this pivotal eclipse. AQUARIUS // You’ve been feeling exposed lately, Aquarius. Almost as if the narrative of you has been out of your control for sometime. Do not take these recent events to heart, dear Aquarius. GEMINI // You’ve been restless, Gemini. The monotony has you considering a return to school, visit to a priest, and/or a pilgrimage far away to shirk off another day of the same old same old. But think twice, maybe even thrice, Gemini. Remember what happened the summer of 2017? This eclipse cycle wants you to do things differently. CANCER // Cancer, I’m sensing some kind of romantic rendezvous before this eclipse lands. This could be a flirty fling with a partner, or simply with yourself and your own creativity. Get it out now, Cancer, because this eclipse will be asking you to make a deeper commitment to this creative impulse. Savor these days of non-committal flitting and feeling.

LEO // You are the kind of missing piece here, Leo. This is your time to shine! Try playing house inside your ideal home. That is, imagine your ideal home, and play house inside that image. How do you feel? What do you do? Who is there with you? Now consider how to make it real, because that’s exactly what this eclipse is coming to push you to.

VIRGO // You’ve also been incredibly restless, dear Virgo. Lean into this rather than run from it. Take these days to note where you are when the dissatisfaction surges. By the time the eclipse rolls around, you can have a clearer plan of where to remedy your discontent.

LIBRA // Libra, I’m seeing some money making group endeavors in your field lately. They’ve been attractive offers, too. The current skies are a bit volatile, though. Try to hold out on committing to anything of the sort until this eclipse passes. We know you usually enjoy joining in and adding your spark to the plan, and this may be different than what you’re used to. That’s the point. Let even your charm be transformed and augmented in this time by keeping it just for you a little longer.

SCORPIO // You’ve got this moon right under your nose, Scorpio. Lean into this, all the current inspiration, the daydreams that have been pulling you away lately.
